The Wave Gathering Festival will take place June 19-21 in Asbury Park, New Jersey. This is the 4th year of the annual festival, which features nearly 200 bands and singer-songwriters from all across the world. This year's festival will include shows in over 20 different locations, making our online schedules more important than ever.

NewJerseyStage.com's customized schedule program allows users to simply mark off the artists they wish to see, hit submit, and get a fully customized schedule instantly generated. Schedules may be customized for each individual day or for the entire three days at once. The site also makes it easy to see complete schedules for each day, schedules for a particular venue, and even schedules broken down by four different regions of town.

While the customized schedules are the biggest draw, hundreds of users each year also use the artist search engine, which lets users enter the name of an artist and immediately see where and when the artist will be playing. With over 20 different venues and more than 175 artists, the artist search engine is a real time saver.

This year's festival features many new and noteworthy national acts such as Madi Diaz (Nashville), Krista (NYC), The Queen Killing Kings (New Haven, CT), Dirty Sweet (San Diego), Red Wanting Blue (Columbus, OH), Chris Ayer (NYC), The Honors (Boston), Patrick Fitzsimmons (VT), Emma Sophina (Australian survivor of US Airways Flight 1549), Carlon (NYC), Panic Years (PA), The Bloodsugars (NYC), Future Future (Sparta, NJ) as well as New Jersey's own Val Emmich (who appeared this past year on Ugly Betty), Status Green, Jillian Rhys. Jerzy Jung, Scott Liss & the Sixty-Six, Christine Martucci, Matt O'Ree, Tunnels To Holland, Outside the Box and Quincy Mumford.

All of the festival artists can be heard on "Wave Radio" each night on The Penguin's online radio station (http://www.ThePenguinRocks.com) from 9pm to midnight (EST). Together with NewJerseyStage.com, the two sites are the best sources of Wave Gathering Festival information. Special Wave Preview shows will air June 15-19 at 1pm and 4pm each day as well.

This is the first year the Wave Festival preview has been hosted at NewJerseyStage.com; in previous years, it was hosted at AsburyMusic.com. In May 2009, AsburyMusic.com evolved into NewJerseyStage.com in an effort to offer arts & entertainment news and features on a larger scale. Instead of solely covering Asbury Park, the website now covers events throughout the entire state of New Jersey. Users visiting AsburyMusic.com are instantly sent to the new website.

AsburyMusic.com, created by music journalist Gary Wien, was named "Asbury Music Award – Top Music Website" on four separate occasions and remains one of the area's most popular music websites.
