CollegiateLink Releases SA LINK Version 1.1

CollegiateLink Corp. has released SA LINK 1.1, the latest version of their software suite for co-curricular program administration at colleges and universities. SA LINK 1.1 adds scalable online elections and assessment surveys capabilities for all student organizations and campus constituencies. Microsoft Active Directory authentication has also been added.

Boston, MA, August 16, 2006 --(PR.com)-- CollegiateLink Corp. today announced the 1.1 release of its enterprise-class software solution for higher education institutions, SA LINK. Version 1.1 adds three key features to an already comprehensive system – online elections, assessment surveys, and MS Active Directory authentication support. "This release builds significantly on our proven SA LINK technology, which continues to be the only software solution with integration support specifically developed for co-curricular program administration at colleges and universities," Aaron Severs, CEO of CollegiateLink Corp. said.

By providing centralized recordkeeping and online collaboration for Student Activities and related departments, SA LINK is designed to bring measurable improvement to the co-curricular program. Now with SA LINK 1.1, all student organizations and campus constituencies can run secure online elections. SA LINK users can also create versatile online surveys with several question types and target these surveys demographically.

MS Active Directory authentication has also been added to address the needs of clients using AD instead of LDAP to provide users with access to SA LINK. Using AD or LDAP with SA LINK allows schools to preserve their single sign-on methodology, where every campus user has one username and password that grants them access to all technology resources.

As with SA LINK 1.0, schools can choose to run SA LINK 1.1 on their own server (available as SA LINK Enterprise™) or subscribe to the SA LINK TurnKey™ hosted service, where CollegiateLink maintains and administers the server. Schools currently using SA LINK are American University (Washington, DC), Austin Peay State University (Clarksville, TN), University of Baltimore (Baltimore, MD), and Wentworth Institute of Technology (Boston, MA).
