Amber Alert Issued for Teen in Manhattan (Unknown Female)

Springfield, IL, August 17, 2006 --(PR.com)-- The New York City Police Department has activated the New York State Amber Alert and is investigating a confirmed child abduction that occurred at 345 west 42 Street, in New York, New York.

The child is a Black female approximately 13-15 years of age.

The suspect is Percy Williams is a Black male, approximately 39 years old. He is approximately 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 220 pounds.

The vehicle has been identified as a Green Dodge Caravan with New York license plate number DPB8184.

The vehicle was last seen traveling West on 42nd Street.

At about 4pm the above male engaged the missing female in conversation. He then grabbed her around the neck and dragged her into the above vehicle and sped away westbound on west 42nd street. Suspect resides in the Schenectady, New York area.
