Calloway’s Nursery Wins 2008 Development Excellence Award from the City of Southlake

Fort Worth, TX, June 26, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Calloway’s Nursery received the 2008 Development Excellence Award from the City of Southlake for the company’s efforts in the development of its new location on the corner of 1709 (Southlake Boulevard) and South Parkwood Drive in Southlake, Texas.

This is the fourth year the city has presented the award. Only one residential and one commercial project are selected each year. The recipient is selected by the Planning and Zoning Commission for efforts in innovation and development. Calloway’s Nursery was chosen for this award because of the company’s commitment to the environment evidenced by the preservation of trees and wildlife while developing the new nursery.

Calloway’s Nursery Southlake location opened in March 2009. John Cosby and Jim Estill, President of Calloway’s Nursery, accepted the award on June 4, 2009 at the Southlake Planning and Zoning meeting.
