Starving Students Launches New Web Site

For more than 36 years Starving Students has been providing top-notch moves to its customers. Now, the company has launched a new Web site designed at making it easier for visitors to book the best move they’ve ever had.

Los Angeles, CA, June 27, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Starving Students Moving Company has launched a brand new Web site with several new and exciting features. Located at SSMovers.com, the new site contains features such as a new LiveChat feature that allows visitors to chat with one of our moving specialists through each step of the booking process.

Starving Students first started off in 1973 when a couple of college students decided to fund their way through college by starting a moving company using a truck they dug out of the side of a hill. What started off as a small part-time operation has developed into a full-fledged moving sensation with 35 locations across nine states. The company first developed a Web site in 1997 and has now taken the step to advance their site to bring visitors even more options then before.

One of the most exciting features of the new Starving Students Web site is their blog page, which is updated throughout each and every day with new content related to the moving industry. Included in this content are special offers designed to save consumers money on their move. Currently the company is offering a Fourth of July discount that allows visitors the opportunity to save $20 if they move on the Monday following the holiday as well as a Cram Session discount, which also yields visitors a savings of $20 off of their move.

About Starving Students:
Starving Students has 35 locations in nine states and performs nearly 50,000 moves each year. They’re proud members of the American Moving and Storage Association and the California Moving & Storage Association.
