Algonquin Studios Names New Chief Software Architect

New CSA, Brian Peters, will focus entirely on the development of and standards for Algonquin Studios’ core software components.

Buffalo, NY, August 22, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Algonquin Studios, Western New York’s premiere enterprise software development firm, announced today that Brian Peters will serve as the company’s Chief Software Architect, effective immediately. Peters, who has been with the firm since 1998 and has been building web and enterprise-level systems since 1995, will focus entirely on the development of and standards for Algonquin Studios’ core software components.

With a launch date of Q4 2006, Algonquin Studios’ core software components will serve as building blocks for companies developing Windows®, Windows Mobile® and web-based applications for enterprise systems. Hailed as a breakthrough for US development, earlier versions of Algonquin Studios’ core software components are incorporated into systems used around the world by Fortune 500 companies.

“In this industry, the best of the best are the most efficient at what they do. Our core components provide tremendous competitive advantage to any development team,“ notes Steven Raines, Chief Operating Officer at Algonquin Studios. “The mantra is efficiency. Rather than starting from scratch, our components allow us to build on foundations already in place.”

Algonquin Studios plans to make its core components available to development teams around the US. “This will change the development industry in this country, and we’re excited to lead that charge” says Steve Kiernan II, Director of Marketing and Business Development for Algonquin Studios. “These tools make a team more competitive in a global market.”
