DTR Inc. Adds a New Product for Political Campaigns That Utilizes Cutting Edge Internet Technology

DTR Inc. is offering politicians an innovative way to brand themselves and reach potential voters by “walking on” to web sites visited by those potential voters.

Palm Beach Gardens, FL, July 01, 2009 --(PR.com)-- DTR Inc. has implemented a new program in time for the November elections matching regional websites (or specific pages within a national website) with politicians. Political candidates shoot a series of 15-second spots that then go through a process to be made “website friendly”. These 15-second spots are then placed on websites. Whenever that site has a visitor, the political candidate “walks on”, has party/name branding behind him/her, gives a short 15-second talk, and then walks off. The talk can be targeted to the type of site. For example, talk about green energy on an alternative energy forum; or talk about job creation on a jobs classified ad site. Of course general belief or introductory statements can be used on any site.

The cost effectiveness and reach for these “walk on” spots is surprising. For example, creating one spot (using only the political candidate in the walk on) and having that ad played 10,000 times would result in a unit cost per personal message of about 12.5 cents. Each additional time that same “walk on” runs, would cost only 10 cents. Included in this cost is a fee paid to the owner of the website. However, best of all is the bang for the buck realized with this strategy. There is no changing the channel when a commercial runs on television or radio; there are no spam filters or automatic deletion to get rid of emails before they are read; and there is no placing of snail mail in the circular file before even opening the letter. When these spots run, the web site visitors must see them, or leave a web page that they went to for a specific purpose.
