Elizabeth Bublitz of Pawfriendly Landscapes Was Featured on 9 News on July 3 to Discuss Preventing Pests from Destroying Gardens

Denver, CO, July 06, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Elizabeth Bublitz, owner and author of Pawfriendly Landscapes, was featured on 9 News on July 3 to discuss preventing pests from destroying gardens. Her philosophy was to discuss cruel free, organic ways to prevent coyote, deer, ants, mites, and rabbits from destroying yards.

Elizabeth discussed the coyote roller, a device Pawfriendly Landscapes is carrying, to prevent coyote from entering and dogs from escaping. She also discussed how soap deters deer and lemon prevents ants from entering gardens.

Pawfriendly Landscapes' philosophy is to create safe yet beautiful yards based on dogs' habits. Elizabeth says, "For over ten years, I have been developing techniques to keep dogs safe in their environment while allowing the homeowner to have a beautiful yard. My company also gets the call that wildlife, such as coyote, deer, etc. are destroying yards and we have techniques to prevent this from happening."

Elizabeth is the author of, "Pawfriendly Landscapes - How to Share the Turf When Your Backyard Belongs to Barney," and is a writer for The American Dog magazine and blogs for the Denver Botanic Garden, Colorado Gardening and PeTA Prime. She also teaches pet friendly yards at Arapahoe Community College and Denver Botanic Gardens. For more information, go to www.pawfriendlylandscapes.com
