)-- To obtain such certification, Cambridge submitted its entire line of duct strapping to a battery of comprehensive tests designed and administered by engineers of the City of Los Angeles. The test results conclusively determined that Cambridge’s complete line of duct support webbing fully complied with the applicable Los Angeles Plumbing Code (LAPC) and Los Angeles Mechanical Code (LAMC), which are considered among the most stringent in the United States.
Cambridge Resources is the only Duct Support Webbing manufacturer to receive this approval, a fact which does not surprise Steve Keilson, Vice President of Cambridge Resources.
“We have an elevated standard of quality at Cambridge,” explains Mr. Keilson. “We pride ourselves on delivering a quality product to our customers, and we go to great lengths to ensure that every piece we produce will meet or exceed any legitimate third party standard.” It is this philosophy that enables Cambridge’s Duct Support Webbing to exceed all of the mandated rigorous requirements for UL listing, including heat release rate and smoke optical density testing.
Duct Support Webbing is an economical alternative to stainless strapping when hanging HVAC flex duct during standard commercial construction. Cambridge Resources industry-leading line is stocked and readily available in both 1 ¾” and 3” widths. For those specific applications and contracts which have even more stringent requirements, Cambridge offers a high-quality line of stainless steel duct strapping as well.
