Romulus, NY, July 16, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Advantage Group Enterprise, Inc. (TAGx), announced today they will be overseeing Oceanaire’s four facility closures as well as an asset remanufacturing and disposition program. Oceanaire Inc., a high-end seafood restaurant chain, issued a press release last week stating that it has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and has closed four of its 16 locations.

TAGx will manage the closure of the chain’s locations in Cincinnati, Philadelphia, Seattle and Charlotte, NC. For over two decades, TAGx has supported the facility and equipment transitions of restaurants and food service clients. These include some 35,000 locations touched each year. Starbucks, Boston Market, Tim Horton’s and Church’s Chicken are just a few of the major chains that TAGx has supported.

TAGx is widely recognized for their state of the art remanufacturing facility. They will be working closely with Oceanaire on an asset remanufacturing and redeployment program that will both save the company money and benefit the environment. TAGx’s affiliation with the National Center for Remanufacturing and Resource Recovery at the Rochester Institute of Technology provides a sound foundation to create remanufacturing programs. “TAGx pioneered an innovative model in remanufacturing restaurant equipment for the food service industry and today is a leader in this industry. TAGx represents an outstanding model for partnership with organizations looking for quality, economical, and green products," writes Dr. Nabil Nasr, Assistant Provost for Academic Affairs, Director of the Center for Integrated Manufacturing Studies, and Director of the Golisano Institute for Sustainability at Rochester Institute of Technology.
