Fitness Expert Introduces Revolutionary Technique for Overall Wellness, Healing in Self Published Book

Susan Mitchell introduces the Tao of Movement, an overall fitness program that combines special techniques for mental, physical and spiritual well being.

Bloomington, IN, July 24, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Good health is not only measured by one’s physical wellness. Other than the body, the mind and spirit should come together in order to create and nurture optimal health. This mind-body-spirit connection is exercised in Pilates, which integrates a range of techniques using every possible series of movements, but which are all united by a common concept of movement.

Fitness expert Susan Mitchell believes that humans are unique energy beings. Inspired by the teachings of founder Joseph Pilates, she introduces the Tao of Movement in her self-published book of the same title. The Tao of Movement is an actual technique to promote physical wellness and spiritual healing. It also includes principles of ballet, Tai Chi, Yoga and the subtle art of energy cultivation.

Tao (pronounced as Dow) is a Chinese philosophy, which means The Way. This way of movement is the Tao of Movement, which can improve one’s understanding and use of his/her own body. This method benefits practically everyone, from professional athletes to people with special needs.

This self-published book incorporates the proper use of breathing technique, spinal awareness as well as energy balance and cultivation. Mitchell stresses the importance of alignment, in which one uses the mind, body and spirit altogether in order to create, nurture and sustain holistic well being.

The Tao of Movement integrates easy, time-tested techniques alongside the biomechanics of the energy body, which the author helps you understand in this book. You can expect to look and feel better about yourself as you achieve a balanced body, a clear and focused mind, and an improved state of being – all of which define optimal health.

The Tao of Movement is published by Xlibris.
