George Mason University Selects Ciphent Cyber Security

GMU Awarded Ciphent a 3 Year State Contract to Provide Technology Solutions and Services for Their Network and Application Layer Security Needs.

Baltimore, MD, July 29, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Ciphent, Inc.’s selection by George Mason University for a 3 year cyber security solutions contract was made public with the publishing of the new eVirginia VASCUPP purchasing agreement. With this announcement, Ciphent’s Cyber Security Solutions and Technology are now available to all Virginia public schools via these purchasing and contract vehicles.

Ciphent was awarded the contract due to their unique ability to help George Mason University meet the Commonwealth of Virginia’s mandate set out in the Information Technology and Security Standard 501.
