Delhi, India, July 31, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Ms Aditi Kulkarni a 24years old female entered this world in a state of profound oxygen deprivation, as a result of which she was saddled with profound developmental delays which was later diagnosed as Cerebral Palsy.

Mr. and Mrs. Kulkarni faced a tough time to see their only child completely dependent on them. The fear that how she would cope up with the world for basic necessities when they are gone made them felt worst.

Aditi’s parents doggedly investigated and utilized any treatment or regimen that seemed effective. This quest for new avenue let them into the world of stem cell therapy in early 2009.

Mr. Kulkarni expressed his heartfelt feelings when he first approached StemOne. He said “I fear what will happen to my child after we die or who do we leave her to, if we ourselves become too old to take care of her”.

Following the lengthy discussion and counseling with the team of StemOne Biologicals Pvt. Ltd., Aditi’s parents decided to have her treated with Autologous Bone Marrow Stem Cell Therapy.

Her Pre- Therapy Test revealed that she fits into the inclusion criteria to undergo an autologous bone marrow stem cell therapy.

In the month of February 2009 she was admitted for stem cell therapy.

During the course of the week that followed after the first shot of stem cells, Aditi showed remarkable improvements in her ability to hold her head upright and started experiencing good gripping power in her hands than she had, prior to stem cell therapy. Tremors in both her hands and even the stiffness in her fingers have reduced dramatically.

The kind and degree of positive change in Aditi was so striking that her therapist and doctors argued in favor of a second shot of stem cells. Aditi made additional gains following the second shot in her ability to lift weights from the weight box without much effort.

Words spread and in time Mr. and Mrs. Kulkarni shared their experiences regarding stem cell therapy with many such Cerebral Palsy patients.

To spread this potential stem cell therapy to be known to all the needy patients Stem Cell Global Foundation is also organizing Stem Cell Global Symposium 2009 in India at CITM Faridabad on 7th Nov, 2009.
