iPuck v1.2 Scoreloop Enabled Action Arcade Game from BluMtnWerx Now on iPhone App Store

With its v1.2 release, iPuck fully integrates the Scoreloop game network functionality. This dramatically increases the excitement and challenge for iPuck players by allowing them to compare scores, issue challenges and participate in the Scoreloop community. iPuck v1.2 is available for immediate download on Apple's iPhone App Store.

Los Altos, CA, August 10, 2009 --(PR.com)-- BluMtnWerx, a developer of leading edge applications for mobile devices, is pleased to announce that v1.2 of iPuck fully supports the Scoreloop game network. This significant enhancement to iPuck on the iPhone / iPod touch is now available for download from the iPhone App Store.

iPuck is a fast paced casual arcade game that's simple to play and extremely engaging. The objective is to score points by getting the puck in the defender's net, while guarding your own goal. The challenge is heightened by the smart defender object, which does its best to put up a fight. iPuck highlights the intensely interactive nature of Apple's iPhone™ and iPod touch™ devices.

The Scoreloop functionality allows players to compare their scores with other gamers worldwide and even challenge them directly. Challenges can be extended to just about anyone, including contacts or buddies on Facebook. Tapping on a name in the high score list initiates a challenge against an existing player. Users can also create and accept anonymous challenges. Scoreloop will ensure that challengers have reasonably equivalent skill levels.

"We're extremely excited about the added dimension that Scoreloop brings to the iPuck experience," said Dean Stevens, Founder of BluMtnWerx. Mr. Stevens continues, "Being able to compare scores, challenge other players and participate in the Scoreloop community make playing iPuck even more compelling. It's hard to overstate the additional challenge and excitement that Scoreloop brings to our game."

New in iPuck v1.2:

> Scoreloop integration. iPuck v1.2 is Scoreloop enabled. This means that players never have to play it alone.

> The winner is the first side to score 21 goals. Each game plays until one side has scored 21 goals. At that point, players will see a results view that shows their net score, gives the option of uploading the score to Scoreloop and provides a button to start a new game.

> The defender is faster, and smarter. The defender's algorithm has been adjusted to make respond more quickly to puck movements.
