)-- Automated Valet is proud to announce its valet operating system, AVPM®, has met all the requirements of the PCI Security Standards Council and been designated compliant.
“This is a great accomplishment for us – it further establishes our reputation for innovation and reliability,” says Automated Valet Founder and CEO Ken Gulec. “We are serious about our clients’ security and know they depend upon us to provide all the technology and protocols needed to protect their customers,” Gulec says. “This is a great achievement.”
Gulec says his team worked hard to provide PCI with the necessary documentation and information required for PCI compliant status and the success of the effort is exceptional.
“We are proud of our ability to keep pace, and surpass our competition. We offer a complete valet operation package and PCI compliance is another accomplishment that will benefit our users,” Gulec says.
PCI sets a security standard for the protection of consumer data. It includes requirements for security management, policies, procedures, network architecture, software design and other critical protective measures. The standards set by PCI are meant to help organizations protect customer account data.
The five founding members of the council are American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB International, MasterCard Worldwide, and Visa Inc. Each incorporates the PCI standard as the technical requirements of each of their data security compliance programs.
The Automated Valet® system offers features that enable credit card payment as well as online payment. PCI compliance identifies the procedures and safety measures set in place for these transactions to be within the standards that best serve the customer.
