Alpha Tech Pet Introduces the Alpha HydroMAID
Portable battery powered unit provides convenience, safety and a more efficacious way to clean and disinfect animal care facilities.
Lexington, MA, August 13, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Alpha Tech Pet, Inc., the makers of KennelSol® introduces a self-contained battery operated automatic dilution cleaning system designed for animal care facilities that has the portability of a mobile unit. The Alpha HydroMAID (Mobile Automated Integrated Dilutor) cleaning system correctly dilutes disinfectants and cleaners to be applied by a low flow/low pressure spray technology. This touch-free cleaning system eliminates the risk of cross contamination of pathogens around the facility from traditional mop and bucket cleaning. The Alpha HydroMAID’s low flow/low pressure spray technology can now be used in areas previously only accessible to mop and bucket cleaning since flooding or splash back caused by standard hose and other cleaning systems would present a problem. Its unique spray nozzle design allows for cleaning and disinfecting fixtures, hard-to reach and often overlooked areas.
Unlike high pressure cleaning systems (500 psi+), the Alpha HydroMAID’s low pressure application (<100 psi) eliminates the spray back of bacteria contaminated water and reduces the risk of aerosolizing pathogens for increased disease control. Low pressure cleaning increases user safety by eliminating the risk of inhaling atomized bacteria and debris and protects fixtures, floors and grout from water damage.
The Alpha HydroMaid is kind to the environment and maintains the “Green” seal of environmentally responsible products. With an on-board 12 gallon storage tank, it uses 50% less water than traditional automated cleaning systems. It utilizes a 12V maintenance free, rechargeable battery with an energy consumption rate of less than 10% of the amount of traditional cord and power outlet units. Its low flow rate design uses only ½ gallon of cleaning solution per minute or 50% less product than other systems. The Alpha HydroMAID is affordable and cost effective with less water consumption, product consumption and energy efficiency.
