Jay Lonewolf Premieres His Latest - "Twisted Threads of the Politically Dead" Aug. 14, 2009 at the Cummings Group Gallery

Miami, FL, August 13, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Join Jay Lonewolf this Friday, August 14, 2009 in Ft. Lauderdale for his latest exhibition. Lonewolf will introduce two new works: “Twisted Threads of the Politically Dead” and “Blue Monkeys in My Mind“ his recent additions to his Wall Street Manifesto series. Lonewolf says “This piece speaks of humanity, the nature of human beings - how their religious beliefs united with political position unravels humanity by its threads.”

Brilliant color, vigilant, political commentary and urban symbolism are fused to create The Wall Street series - individual, graphic essays on today’s economic state. The gifted artist suffers from rod monochromacy, he does not see color. His vision is limited to variations of black and white, with gradients or contrasts of gray similar to the old black and white TV sets from years ago.

Jay Lonewolf has been featured in the Miami Herald, WTVJ-NBC 6 Miami, Telemundo and Univision. His websites http://jaylonewolf.com and myspace.com/jaylonewolf57 have garnered over 10 million hits. Lonewolf is also featured in Miami Artzine, lifeinthefastlane.com.

The exhibition features also the works of Alex Morales, Albert Levon Sanchez and Francisco Acosta. Acosta is freelance photographer based in Miami. His images of Puerto Rico’s lush landscapes and landmarks include the rain forest El Yunque and the 16th century fortress El Moro in San Juan. Alex Morales is a native of Brooklyn, New York. His canvases are a mix of oils, acrylics and computer graphics. He’s greatly influenced by his hometown of New York City. Albert Levon Sanchez, also a NYC native is photographer based in Spring Hill, Florida. His portraits depict women in various roles with strength and defiance.

Lonewolf is dedicating his exhibition to the Hermandad MC, a Miami motorcycle club that supports the arts and local causes with fundraising and donations. Lonewolf says “They are a stand-up group of brothers”.

The Cummings Group Gallery will hold a reception Friday, August 14, at 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm. The exhibition continues in the gallery through August 28, 2009. More information is available at www.jaylonewolf.com.
