Urban City Media Will be Launching UrbanCity.net... An Urban Music Networking Site for Indie & Major Label Artists. Sponsorship Opportunities Available.
Washington, DC, September 08, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Urban City Media is preparing to launch a international urban music networking site in the first week of November. The site will be a place for independent and major recording artist to network and reach new fans around the world. All one would have to do is to set up a free account and begin enjoying the features on Urban City. For recording artist, Urban City has created "Next To Blow" a new feature that will highlight and help break new artist that has the goods to become the next superstar.
The site will also be a social gathering for high school and college students to talk about the latest happenings and reviews in music, video games, and movies. At a later date members will be able to integrate a personal chat room onto their profile page. We also have plans on providing artists and record labels with a new feature that will enable them to sell their music from their profile page. Fans can purchase and download the artist album or single from the artist page.
Urban City will also be launching UCTV, which will be the main attraction for the the networking site by giving independent TV and movie producers a chance to show case the their work. The first show to air on UCTV will be a hip hop and r&b show called Mic Check. The show will feature exclusive interviews, industry news, live performances and music videos. Mic Check will be what 106 & park is to BET. Urban City Radio Network is in the works as well. More information will be provided in the coming weeks.
