Vantec Releases the NexStar® Universal Storage Adapter

The NexStar® Line Expands with a New Type of Storage Adapter Capable of Reading and Writing to Memory Cards and IDE/SATA Devices

Fremont, CA, August 29, 2009 --( Vantec Thermal Technologies, a worldwide leader specializing in computer accessories introduces the NexStar® Universal Storage Adapter, creating a Swiss army knife tool for users to read and write to a wide array of storage products such as memory cards, hard drives and optical drives though a USB 2.0 connection.

The NexStar® Universal Storage Adapter works with virtually anything that uses a IDE or SATA interface and is capable of running multiple storage devices simultaneously. From memory cards to hard drives, the NexStar® Universal Storage Adapter tackles all memory storage jobs with ease. A power adapter is also provided for 3.5” hard drives or 5.25” optical drives, as these require power to be drawn from an external power source.
