The Jones Comany Runs for Best Buddies of Tennessee

Nashville, TN, September 08, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Jones Company participated in the “5 for Friendship” 5k run/walk on Saturday, August 29th at McKay’s Mill in Franklin with a team of 14 employees. As a $1000 donor, the company was a “Silver Sponsor” of this event.

All 5 for Friendship proceeds will benefit Best Buddies of Tennessee, a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of people with intellectual disabilities through friendships. Their vision is to end their social isolation by establishing meaningful, lasting one-to-one friendships with their non-disabled peers.

The event took place in McKay’s Mill, where The Jones Company has built nearly 1,000 homes since 1998.
