InfraMation 2009, World’s Largest Infrared Camera Applications Conference, Celebrates 10 Years with Leaders in Infrared Thermography

Join top industry leaders at the 10th annual InfraMation conference. Focused and high-level, this event is the largest global platform from which to build new business relationships and discover what’s new, practical and profitable in IR applications.

Las Vegas, NV, September 11, 2009 --(PR.com)-- InfraMation 2009, the leading infrared camera applications conference in the world, celebrates its 10th anniversary October 19-22 at Bally’s Las Vegas. Hundreds of practitioners of infrared thermography, including leaders of the industry, will be part of this unique educational and networking event addressing IR applications. Those applications using infrared cameras include energy audits, plant predictive maintenance, non-destructive testing, and thermal research and development. The conference is presented by FLIR, the global leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of thermal imaging infrared cameras.

Attendees of InfraMation 2009 will have the opportunity to learn new applications in infrared thermography as well as network with those on the cutting-edge of applying the technology of infrared cameras. Interactive clinics will address a wide range of technical issues in infrared camera applications, and panel discussions featuring top experts will create unprecedented networking opportunities. Level I, II or III certified infrared thermographers can earn credits toward re-certification by attending.

As at earlier conferences, this year’s user presentations will make up the core of InfraMation 2009. Last year’s InfraMation drew more than 650 attendees and guests who had access to 60 technical and poster presentations as well as 18 clinics. Here is a sampling of the topics at this year’s conference:

Electronics and Microelectronics Inspection: Normalizing the E Values on a Printed Circuit Board
Building Science, Weatherization/Energy Audits, Infrastructure: Thermal Imaging as a Development Tool for Super Efficient House Design
Condition Monitoring, Predictive and Preventative Maintenance: Design Considerations for an Infrared Vehicle to Inspect Overhead Electrical Equipment
Life Sciences: The Infrared Thermography of the Diabetic Foot
Non-Destructive Testing: Pulsed Thermography for Aerospace Applications
Research and Development: Using IR and Visible Station to Monitor and Prevent Sea Coast and Seawater Pollution
Thermography Programs and Consultant Marketing: Starting One’s Own Thermography Business
Artistic IR Applications: Thermo-Art — A New Direction for Thermographers
