RumBum.com to Host the Live Stream of the Austin City Limits Music Festival, Live from Austin, Texas

Miami, FL, September 16, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Long known as a hub of independent music and art, the city of Austin will play host to the biggest music festival of the fall season – the Austin City Limits Music Festival, set to take place October 2-4 in Austin’s beautiful Zilker Park. For those who can’t come on down to Austin, RumBum.com has partnered with the festival to broadcast the best of the fest live from Texas.

The ACL Festival will have all the swagger and flavor of Texas. Eight stages will bring 12 hours of music a day for three days to the “weird” city. Included in the lineup are headliners like Pearl Jam, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Kings of Leon, the Dave Mathews Band, Ben Harper and Relentless 7, Dan Auerbach, and Andrew Bird. But this fest just wouldn’t be Texas if it didn’t include some blue grass, country and gospel music, so Austin City Limits will have plenty of that too.

RumBum.com aims to bring viewers at home closer to all the ACL Festival will have to offer. They will be broadcasting the live stream, interviewing the bands, photographing the shows and sending updates from the ground.

RumBum.com has been doing it all summer, starting with the Rothbury Music Festival, in Rothbury, MI and then onto the Mile High Music Festival in Denver, CO, and to the All Points West Music Festival in New Jersey’s Liberty State Park, and of course, Lollapalooza in Chicago’s Grant Park.

“We’re thrilled to have a chance to partner with the ACL Festival to bring the live stream to the eyes and ears of viewers at home, says Luis Bacardi, the original Rum Bum. “It’s what we’re all about.”
