Mobile Monday (MoMo) Chicago, a community of mobile professionals that promotes the mobile industry and fosters cooperation and networking, today announced its participation as an association sponsor of 4G World, the first conference and expo that provides a road map for the global mobile Internet ecosystem, taking place in Chicago from September 15-18.

4G World will showcase the first 4G mobile broadband networks being launched in 2009 using mobile WiMAX technologies and the evolution of 3G mobile networks to support mobile Internet using HSPA and LTE technologies. 4G World is co-located with Mobile Internet World™, WiMAX World®, WCAI International Symposium, Backhaul Summit and Femtocell Summit.

Following is some additional background on each of the three Chicago-based mobile start-ups attending 4G World:

· AGENT511: www.agent511.com

AGENT511 develops and markets two-way, interactive mobile messaging products for enterprises and public sector contact centers that allow consumers to access and share multimedia information on the go. Examples include power outage notification, school closings, and visitor information. AGENT511 is also working with public safety agencies to offer citizens the ability to share text, pictures, and videos from their mobile phone with first responders.

“We’re really excited to participate in 4G World on behalf of MoMo Chicago because the channel offers our clients the ability to acquire richer information, which provides maximum situational awareness for first responders and more choices for consumers,” said Jay Malin, Ph.D., managing director of AGENT511. “Our exciting portfolio of mobile phone applications opens the door to a wide range of intelligent, integrated constituent communications. With 4G ‘always on’ our clients maximize their reach while improving the quality of communications with their constituents.”

· mPayy: www.mpayy.com and http://mobile.mpayy.com

mPayy is a secure online and mobile payment provider that enables merchant processing for businesses from the smallest seller to the largest retailer, along with quick and simple purchasing for consumers. mPayy’s secure debit solution is built around the mobile number, a unique differentiator that allows its customers to pay securely, conveniently and easily from their checking or stored value account. The company’s highly scalable payment platform for Internet retailers improves margins by reducing fraud and transaction costs. mPayy enables profitable micro-payments; easy, yet secure purchases of digital content and physical goods; and free person-to-person payments. Through its use of the low cost ACH system, and a unique risk management model, mPayy is fundamentally changing the economics of both e-commerce and m-commerce.

“mPayy’s payment services are available via API’s or from within local applications on mobile phones,” noted Conrad Sheehan, founder and CEO of mPayy. “As such, we’re looking forward to meeting the innovators in 4G and interested in learning more about the next steps in connectivity and mobile WiFi.”

· ProOnGo: www.ProOnGo.com

ProOnGo makes expense reporting as easy as a snap. With ProOnGo Expense, smartphone owners submit their expense reports simply by taking pictures of their receipts with a BlackBerry®, iPhone™, or Windows Mobile® phone. Expense details are prepared automatically by ProOnGo’s Receipt Reader service, and the results are available for export to Microsoft® Excel, QuickBooks® Online Edition, and more. Time and mileage tracking are also included, making ProOnGo Expense a complete expense tracking solution for today’s busy mobile professional.

“We’re proud to be a Chicago-based mobile startup, and eager to draw attention to the mobile community here as a major center for innovation,” said Phillip Leslie, CEO of ProOnGo. “4GWorld provides us not only with a platform for making announcements about our own products and services, but also the opportunity to show how forward-thinking and inventive startups are in Chicago.”
