Malenda Trick, a 2006 License Magazine Top Ten Licensor, has painted professionally for over 40 years. Her portrait commissions include Fred Thompsom, Marsha Blackburn and George W. Bush. Malenda specializes in 19th century impressionism having learned to paint in the style of the old masters when the Tennessee State Museum commissioned her to reproduce the works of the great impressionists of the 19th century. Her aggressive style employs bold, flowing lines, vibrant colors and stimulating textures that capture the essence of contemporary life. Her style is very distinctive and has often been labeled "Romantic Impressionism". A natural evolution of her interest in the great impressionists such as Monet, Renoir and Degas, her own style incorporates a rich palate of colors and tones that provide real depth to her work.

Malenda’s art has found its way onto hundreds of different products with manufacturers in the USA and UK licensing her works. You can find her work on tapestries manufactured by Beljen Mills, Pure Country Weavers, Manual Woodworkers and Weavers, Simply Home. A wide variety of home decor and tabletop products including trays trivets coasters manufactured by Mohawk Home, Evergreen, Thirstystone, Hindostone, and Highland Graphics. One of Malenda’s most popular product lines is the Diva Does . . . hair brush collection manufactured by Pacific Enterprise which is popular all over the world. These brushes have three dimensional divas on a premium quality hair brush designed by Malenda for the Woman that has everything.
