Zeus Named One of Britain's Fastest Growing Tech Companies by Sunday Times Tech Track

Cambridge, United Kingdom, September 23, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Zeus Technology, the only pure software-based application traffic management company, today announces that it has been ranked by The Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 as one of the fastest growing technology companies in Britain. Zeus is also a finalist for The Sunday Times Tech Track Awards in both the ‘Best Management Team’ and ‘Research and Development’ categories.

The league table, now in its ninth year, measures firms’ sales growth over their last three financial years. The table is compiled by Fast Track, an Oxford-based company headed up by Dr. Hamish Stevenson, an associate fellow of Templeton College, Oxford University.

Cambridge-based Zeus Technology has been recognised for its innovative software that manages online traffic, so that websites are fast, secure and do not crash, even when there is a leap in use. The technology powers Comic Relief’s website, enabling it to process 116 donations a second.

Paul Brennan, CEO, Zeus Technology, says, “It’s fantastic to see that our success has been recognised in such a well respected league table. Despite the tough economic climate, Zeus is experiencing growth across many dimensions: increased revenues, new client acquisition and a rapidly expanding partner ecosystem. I would like to thank our customers for working with us to create one of the fastest growing private software companies in the UK.”
