Abstract Thinking. Glasses Clinking

Free admission to galleries on Gallery Night

Erie, PA, September 26, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Abstract thinking, glasses clinking, free admission, artist demos, and live music combine for Gallery Night on Friday, Oct. 9, 2009 from 7-10 p.m.

“It’s never been more important than it is now to support local businesses. Erie’s galleries offer unique gifts such as fine art, art classes, professional framing, memberships and more,” said Tammy Roche director of marketing and development for the Erie Art Museum. “Gallery Night was in part created to support local commerce.”

Accents by the Bay, Allen Stoneware Gallery, Bayfront Gallery, Cummings Art Gallery at Mercyhurst College, Geary’s Studio 7 Gallery, Glass Growers Gallery, Kada Gallery, Presque Isle Gallery Coffeehouse, Ralph Miller Jewelers & Gallery, Schuster Gallery at Gannon University, Urraro Gallery and the galleries at the Erie Art Museum will host Gallery Night.

Always a popular way to get around Gallery Night, EMTA’s Bayliner will be providing free shuttle transportation from 7 to 10:30 p.m. Trolley maps and schedules are available at each gallery or by calling the Erie Art Museum at 814-459-5477.
