TELES Launches Entry Level Softswitch Platform (ELSP)

TELES announces affordable and easy to deploy next generation network Entry Level Softswitch Platform (ELSP).

Berlin, Germany, September 27, 2009 --(PR.com)-- TELES, the Berlin based Next Generation Networks and Access Gateway vendor, has launched a cost-effective and affordable "Entry Level Softswitch Platform" (ELSP) which delivers the entire suite of TELES NGN applications.

With the full range of Class 4/Class 5 applications, the ELSP provides the perfect platform for aspiring carriers and service providers to build their customer base on. The single platform is easy to deploy and comes with a complete and comprehensive system management application enabling the solution to be up and running almost immediately. It is fully redundant and scalable with full carrier class availability.

The softswitch houses and supports all relevant next generation network applications for carrier business models including wholesale, subscriber services, and even managed services. Multiple implementation modes mean that operators can, for example, start with a classic Carrier Peering application and then later move on to IP Centrex or hosted unified communication services, delivering high-margin, high-ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) services to the market which cater for any type of business.

"This is an easy to manage solution which combines all of the features and functions which any new carrier or service provider would need to get started," says Thomas Haydn, Product Marketing Director at TELES. "The fact that everything is housed on a single platform means that it is very easy to deploy making it an ideal solution for operators. I am absolutely convinced that this solution is the best and most feature rich softswitch starter platform currently available on the market."

TELES ELSP is enabling service providers to roll out VoIP services initially to a small user base before expanding. ELSP also contributes significantly to ARPU growth for service providers thanks to its IP Centrex, FMC, and unified communications solutions and is licensed according to the pay-as-you-grow licensing model. The compactness of the solution as well as reduced energy requirements also contributes to lower costs and to environmental benefits thanks to a reduced carbon footprint.

The ELSP will be demonstrated publicly for the first time at EXPO COMM Argentina (www.expocomm.com.ar) from September 22-25, 2009 - for further information please contact Carlos Reyes +59133122565
