Wajid Drabu of Los Angeles Awarded by International Photography Awards

Los Angeles, CA, September 27, 2009 --(PR.com)-- International Photography Awards (IPA) has announced the winners of 2009's competition.

Wajid Drabu was Awarded: Honorable Mention in Fine Art - Portrait category for the winning entry"Misfortuned soul."

About Winner:
Wajid was born in the valley of Kashmir. With a deep connection to the natural environment he began painting and photography at a young age observing and recreating nature through his unique perspective. A keen interest in the built environment got him motivated to pursue architectural studies in Bombay during which time he became fascinated by the play of forms, light and shade and rediscovered photography as a medium to explore this realm. He is currently practicing Architecture in Los Angeles with a strong connection to photography as a medium for visual dialogue.
