Sakalosky Ready for Terry

Omaha, NE, October 02, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Nebraska Republican Matt Sakalosky, who is challenging Lee Terry for the District 2 Republican Congressional ticket, will respond publicly this Friday to Terry's statements, from a recent Nebraskawatchdog.org interview, where Terry objected to and dismissed Sakalosky's primary challenge as a, "mere softening," and causing him to spend money so early in the primary.

“It is very premature to assume Lee will be the Republican candidate against Tom White,” says Sakalosky. “It is premature and contrary to inclusive, representative government to anoint anyone before the election. I have a plan that will eliminate Lee’s fears around the primary season and challenge all of us to higher discussion about what is happening in our country today.”

Sakalosky is a stalwart for fiscal responsibility in government and espouses traditional Reagan principles.

“This will offer a refreshing departure from the typical political mudslinging you see in campaigns and help build our party stronger,” says Sakalosky. “I have an idea to provide a low-cost, high-value option instead of playing politics as usual and factor in the ideals self-governing: The People.”
