Golf Impressions Plus Expands Online Gallery

Powell, OH, September 21, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Golf Impressions Plus (www.golfimpressionsplus.com), an online art gallery featuring the golf course landscape and other paintings of Ohio artist Guy Salvato, announced today the unveiling of seventy-three new paintings.

The new watercolor, oil and acrylic-based compositions are divided into six series dedicated to various subject matter including Salvato’s signature Golf Course Landscapes, as well as Still Life, Barns and Houses, Seascapes, Landscapes, and the vibrant Cabo San Lucas series.

According to Salvato, his passion for the game of golf led him to open his box of long neglected watercolors to capture some of the images he had remembered during his travels. “I have always been drawn to the serenity and peacefulness of a golf course during the twilight hours. There is something magical about that time of day,” Salvato reflected at his studio in Powell, Ohio.

Salvato explained that he began painting again with the medium of oil late last year. “My purpose with oils is not to illustrate finite details, but rather to capture the colors, shapes and general impressions of select moments,” commented Salvato.

Salvato’s latest work can be viewed online anytime at www.golfimpressionsplus.com. Giclee reproductions are also offered and original and commissioned works are available by contacting Golf Impressions Plus.
