)-- Gayla Bonke, owner and chef at Chatham Street Café & Catering (www.chathamstreetcafe.com), located at 140 E. Chatham St., has announced that the restaurant will host a winemaker’s dinner with Chatham Hill Winery on Thursday, Oct. 8 at 6 p.m. The cost is $50 per person, excluding tax and gratuity. Each course will feature local ingredients and be accompanied by wines produced in Morrisville by Chatham Hill Winery, made from North Carolina-grown grapes. “We are excited to host a winemaker’s dinner with Chatham Hill Winery,” said Bonke. “This event will be a great way for guests to sample delicious pairings of local wine and food.”
- Local vendors for the event include Sea Depot shrimp and catch of the day, Blues Sky Farms fresh produce, Celebrity Goat Farm goat cheese, Cane Creek Farm ducks and beef, and Muddy Dog coffee.
