Bhansali Cables and Conductors Ltd Launches Digital Distribution Frame at ITU Telecom World 2009

Bhansali Cables and Conductors adds telecom equipment to its product portfolio.

New Delhi, India, October 07, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Bhansali Cables and Conductors Ltd announced the launch of its Digital Distribution Frame (DDF) for the international market in Geneva today.

DDF is widely used in the telecommunication sector as a passive device for termination of cables, allowing arbitrary interconnections to be made.

"We though it is ideal to use our participation in ITU Telecom World 2009 to put this product on the world stage", says Mr Deepak Jain, Director, Bhansali Cables and Conductors. The product has been approved by the Telecommunication Engineering Centre of the Government of India and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd, one India's leading full service telecommunications company.

Set up as a pure play cables and wires company in the eighties, Bhansali Cables and Conductors is now adding telecommunications equipment to its product line up. "As a quality-led company, it is very critical for us to get the product offering right. More so when we are entering the international market. That is why we have taken some time to develop our equipment portfolio", adds Mr Jain.

The company has lined up one more product launch at ITU Telecom World 2009 and will roll out other equipment in the next 12-18 months.
