Michael, Ellen and Scott were awarded with a Web Award for developing www.AngelEyewear.com, the winning website in the categories of WSI eFusion Excellence.
The WSI eFusion Excellence award was presented to Michael Richards, Ellen Richards and Scott Wasserman, as well as Michael’s in-house team, WSIWebpro.com. The site is built for women who have a passion for designer eyewear and is based on the active lifestyles of female fashion. AngelEyewear.com demonstrates an outstanding design built using the WSI eFusion solution, one of WSI’s standardized platforms, and is also an outstanding example demonstrating best in class creative, layout, functionality, and client- and industry-focused best practices. It is visually appealing, draws the client in and showcases Angel Eyewear’s specialty in eyewear design.

WSI introduced the WSI Excellence Awards in 2006 to showcase the very best of thousands of the Internet solutions created each year by WSI Consultants in their local markets around the world. The WSI Excellence Awards are divided into 2 categories: Web Awards, which recognizes website design excellence and Marketing Awards, which recognizes outstanding Internet marketing campaigns. Several hundred sites and case studies were submitted by Consultants to be considered for the 2009 WSI Excellence Awards. All sites and case studies were scored and ranked by a team of auditors from the WSI head office, who created a short list of the top submissions, resulting in 59 nominations. The nominees were then voted on by the global community of WSI Consultants to determine the winners in the 7 subcategories of the Web Awards and 3 subcategories of the Marketing Awards. The 2009 WSI Excellence Awards were distributed at WSI's international Convention in Orlando, USA on September 29, 2009.
