)-- FinePrint Software, LLC announces the launch of pdfFactory Pro 3, a major upgrade to the easy-to-use and inexpensive alternative to Adobe Acrobat for creating Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files. The focus of this release is to enable electronic documents to more closely mimic their paper counterparts.
pdfFactory Pro 3 enables users to create company letterhead, on which any content can be printed and sent electronically as a PDF. It also allows for consistent page numbering, and headers and footers across any set of documents that comprise the PDF.
Other features include advanced watermarking, automatic bookmarks and much more. While this new functionality is quite advanced, it does not compromise the simple user interface for which pdfFactory Pro is famous.
“With the release of pdfFactory Pro 3, we are addressing the needs of users who want to bypass paper completely and deliver complex electronic documents,” said Jonathan Weiner, CEO of FinePrint Software. “Electronic documents are becoming totally integrated into the workflow of organizations, and it is becoming even more of a common practice for people to just send a PDF rather than printing the document and having it delivered. Version 3 turns what would normally be a complex process into a very simple step."
pdfFactory, FinePrint Software’s basic PDF creator has also been upgraded with new security and page rearranging capabilities.
Trial versions of pdfFactory and pdfFactory Pro are available for download at the FinePrint web site, FinePrint.com. pdfFactory is available for $49.95 while pdfFactory Pro is priced at $99.95. Quantity discounts are available.
