John Gorman Reads from "Shades of Luz" Oct 12th at Telephone Bar

John Gorman, author of "Shades of Luz" and founder of Paper Cut blog will be reading from his debut novel Monday Oct 12th at 8pm at Telephone Bar in the East Village. The venue is a few blocks from St. Marks Place the famous eclectic stretch of East Village. When asked if he was excited to be reading at Telephone Bar John said, "It's a cool place to read. It's intimate. It feels like you are on stage in an intimate cave."

New York, NY, October 09, 2009 --(PR.com)-- John has read at other venues throughout the city. Most notably KGB Bar, Cornelia Street Cafe, The Cell, The Knitting Factory and Playwright's Horizon. This will be the first time John will be reading at Telephone Bar.

"Right now there's a lot happening with the book and there should be new things coming up on the horizon." John Gorman said. "I have a few author interviews lined up. That's really exciting. Also, I have a Q and A scheduled with 'East Street Bliss' author Douglas Light."

A recent guest blog of his appeared on Nannette Croce's zine writer.

As far as other stops on his book tour is concerned, John will be visiting The Cell, Hunter College, KGB Bar, McNally Robinson bookstore in the very near future. He has also decided to have a podcast to geometrically increase his promotion.
