Coach operators can retain their own branding and identity while participating in the campaign, and display full, partial or bumper coach wraps to promote the initiative.

Denver, CO, October 11, 2009 --(PR.com)-- After determining the word ‘motorcoach’ is not a widely recognized term with most North Americans, let alone considered a viable means of transportation for the traveling public, the Motorcoach Council, Inc. decided it would take an entire industry to rectify this predicament. In the past year, more than 66 Founding Partner motorcoach charter companies from all regions of the U.S. got engaged with the Council to combine their resources and influence for the first time in history, to market the industry as a whole to the consumer, using one voice to consistently deliver their mission and message.

The “Get Motorcoachified” educational outreach program will initially utilize advertising wraps on the sides, backs and rear bumpers of motorcoaches to display the campaign’s witty, memorable campaign slogans and vibrant graphics which tout the many benefits of the motorcoach industry, citing comfort, convenience, luxury amenities, state-of-the-art technology and environmental efficiency, marking the motorcoach as a smart transportation solution.

Early adopters of the campaign bus wraps include Arrow Stage Lines (Omaha, NE); Voigt’s Bus Service, Inc. (St. Cloud, MN); Ramblin Express (Denver, CO); Lamers Bus Lines, Inc. (Green Bay, WI), all of whom sport the new campaign decals on their 45-foot rolling billboards, otherwise known as motorcoaches (charter buses).

“Arrow Stage Lines is proud to be part of the ‘Get Motorcoachified’ campaign,” said Luke Busskohl, Sales and Marketing Manager of Arrow Stage Lines. “We are looking forward to the positive effect this campaign will have on our industry as a whole and are already receiving positive feedback from consumers who did not realize just how nice motorcoach travel has become,” added Busskohl.

The Motorcoach Council’s outreach campaign is open to all North American motorcoach charter companies, and has a minimum requirement of one bumper wrap purchase (estimated cost $45) to participate in the campaign and be listed in the consumer website’s online directory at www.GetMotorcoachified.com.

“While the campaign wraps will certainly draw attention to the individual coach operators displaying the graphics,” said Council spokesperson Heather Horton, “we hope that the entire industry and all its key players will benefit from our lapel-grapping wraps and campaign messages traveling on our nation’s highways and byways in the coming years.”

“In the face of escalating environmental concerns, economic instability and surface road congestion, it is time the motorcoach was redefined and rediscovered,” said Horton. “North Americans need to recognize that today’s motorcoach provides the safest, most convenient, cost effective and environmentally conscious way to travel.
