You Want What, When? Ski Butlers Ski Rentals Will be Right There

The economy has changed a lot of things in the ski industry; one major change is the lead time to bookings. Ski Butlers has been working hard to make sure that all last minute guests will be taken care of quickly.

Aspen, CO, October 16, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The economy has changed a lot of things in the ski industry; one major change is the lead time to bookings. Lodging properties used to be full for the Christmas holiday by mid October; now they don’t sell out till December 24th. “Ski rental bookings are going the same way, people are waiting till the last minute,” says Aspen/Snowmass and Telluride Ski Butlers owner Riley Tippet, “we have been adjusting our procedures accordingly.” Ski Butlers Ski Rentals generally like a week or more of a lead time to make sure they have equipment available, but in anticipation of last minute bookings they have been developing plans and procedures to be available for these last minute guests. “It’s not a problem in the middle of January when a guest calls up and asks for rental equipment for his family to be delivered and fit that evening. Now December 26th is a different story. We would hate to turn anyone away so we are making sure we are ready to accommodate.” Riley said.

One of the things driving the last minute bookings is travelers are deal shopping, waiting till the very last moment to grab the best deal. Ski Butlers is taking that into account as well, they have a couple of different promotions going on, depending on the location. The newest, which can be seen on the front page of their website, www.skibutlers.com, is 15% off in certain locations, for reservations of 6+ days. Ski Butlers pricing is already lower than most on mountain resort shops but Owner Riley Tippet mentioned that “we realize people are going to be looking for it (discounts), so we put it right up front."
