Albequerque, NM, October 18, 2009 --(PR.com
)-- Jargon Media LLC is having an internet launch party to mark the milestone of its grand opening. E-vites were sent online, events posted on Facebook, and tweets made on Twitter. The company is utilizing the Web to conduct all business—an attempt to minimize cost and needless harm to the environment.
We recognized the need for editing and proofing services while attending Oxford Brookes University, which hosts a large array of foreign and graduate students. The stress of writing dissertations and applying for jobs simultaneously can be overwhelming; we sought a service that would help edit and professionalize our own MA dissertations, resumes, and cover letters, but to no avail.
Enter Jargon Media LLC—a full-service editing company geared toward students and the business community. Our team of freelance editors are located around the globe and each editor has an advanced degree in publishing, English, or a related field.
And when we’re not editing the written word, we plan to publish it. From fiction to poetry, our goal is to edit, market, and produce two books a year starting in November 2009 with our first publication, Royal Amber by Jeanette M. Harris. We’re helping friends achieve their pipe dreams and will eventually accept submissions (everyone has a novel, right?).
Once the concept was in place, we got to work with the help of friends around the world. From designers to web developers, editors to writers we have a whole pool of resources. Everyone has a goal, everyone has a passion, and it’s our job to make it all happen.
Jargon Media LLC will proof and edit dissertations, theses, resumes, cover letters, essays, manuscripts, articles, and beyond—no project is too big or too small. Clients submit work online and projects are assigned to qualified, freelance editors around the globe.
Book publishing is a keen focus for Jargon Media LLC, with goals of editing, producing, marketing, and selling general trade fiction and non-fiction. Royal Amber by Jeanette M. Harris will be their first publication, available to buy online November 10, 2009. Their second title, Fired for Facebooking, will be released in 2010.
www.jargon-media.com launches on October 18, 2009. To join the online launch party or for more information follow @jargonmedia on Twitter, add jargonmedia to Skype contacts, or become a fan on Facebook (search Jargon Media LLC).
