)-- There are 368 lots in their current Asian, Ancient & Ethnographic Works of Art auction. Highlights of this auction include a painting entitled Ocean Sunset by the foremost Filipino artist, Fernando Amorsolo, an oil on panel. Amorsolo’s works are known for their interesting use of light while capturing the essence of Philippine culture. The volume of his work is believed to be around 10,000 pieces, and have become a national treasure throughout his homeland.
The iGavel auction includes a pair of desirable Chinese Ivory and Hardwood Table Cabinets from the 20th Century. These cabinets are both 13 3/4 inches high. They are highly carved and are nearly identical.
