San Mateo, CA, September 27, 2006 --(PR.com
)-- Some of the finest art is often hidden in the most unexpected of places. Tahill Galleries is that kind of place: a showcase of stunningly colored organic shapes, vibrant handblown glass pieces, one-of-a-kind fine art lighting fixtures, rugged jewelry reflective of the unique elements found in nature, and painstakingly crafted wall art pieces that quietly stand in background to the shimmer of jewelry and glass. Tahill Galleries has been going quietly about its business since opening in April 2006, but the Gallery is about to find itself in the limelight, having thrust the spotlight on fine art right in front of the masses with the opening of their luxurious Gallery in the Hillsdale Shopping Center.
The Gallery is hosting its first private Gallery Opening and Pre-Holiday Showing November 1, 2006, to the press as well as local interior decorators, designers, architects and stylists. The private event will take place from 6-9 pm in the Gallery itself. The Gallery will be closed to the public, hor d’ouvres will be served and an invitation is required to attend. There will be a 15% discount given on any purchase made the night of the party, and a drawing will be held for a one of a kind Watchcraft watch as well.
The press are asked to kindly please RSVP by October 20th.
About Tahill Galleries
Teresa and Alan Hill might not sound like fine art gallery owners - after all, they are both still heavily involved in the world of Silicon Valley high tech - but call this a hobby well on its way to becoming much more. This husband and wife team are busily entertaining artists and artisans alike, keeping an eye out for unique fine art talent, quietly gathering together a stable of artisans that any Gallery would be keen to represent. Tahill Galleries currently has relationships with about 50 artists around the country, and that number is growing. Currently showcased in the couple’s Hillsdale Shopping Center Gallery are unique pieces by artists such as David Garcia, Michael Nourot, Sydney Lynch, Todd Reed, Sarah Graham, Namu Cho, Susan Kinzig, and Brooke Marks Swanson.
