1st Annual Benefit Concert to be Held on Packers – Cowboys Weekend

Benefit Concert for Families stricken by ailments in North East Wisconsin. November 14th at Stadium View Bar at 5pm. Night before the Green Bay Packers take on the Dallas Cowboys. Performances by Fine Line, Naked Neighbors and the Happy Schnapps Combo.

Green Bay, WI, October 27, 2009 --(PR.com)-- PackerPlex, local artists and Jerry Parins have joined forces to make a difference for families stricken with ailments and in need of assistance in N.E. Wisconsin. All the proceeds from this event will be donated to the Jerry Parins Foundation and MDA and will stay here in N.E. Wisconsin. The group announced today the First Annual Everybody Needs Lovin’ and then some benefit concert. The concert will be held at the Stadium View Bar on Saturday November 14th. Doors open at 5pm and admission charge will be by donation only. The night will feature multiple musical acts, including Fine Line and Naked Neighbors, two of Wisconsin’s most popular rock and roll cover bands. Also appearing is the group, Happy Schnapps Combo who wrote the famed "The Bears Still Suck" polka. In addition to music, there will be a silent auction including Packers Memorabilia, a Harley-Davidson sponsored raffle as well as other activities.

Nick Cialdella, Co-Owner and Founder of Packerplex commented, "We are ecstatic and honored to be involved in such a wonderful event." About Jerry Parins – Cruise for Cancer
A cancer survivor and former captain of internal affairs for the Green Bay Police Department, Parins retired from his post in 1992 to assume the role of director of corporate security for the Green Bay Packers. Today, Parins holds the annual 'Jerry Parins Cruise for Cancer.' The 120-mile motorcycle ride raises money for various cancer-related organizations, many of which he encountered during his treatment at St. Vincent's Hospital in Green Bay.
