The Cambridge Insurance Agency Partners with Metropolitan Ministries to Award Health, Home and Auto Coverage to Tampa Bay Area Families

For every 50 new customer policies that Cambridge signs, the company will award one-time $1,000 donations to nonprofit Metropolitan Ministries. The donations will be exclusively applied toward insurance policies to qualified uninsured individuals or families.

Tampa, FL, October 29, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Cambridge Insurance Agency, a Tampa-based company, is partnering with Metropolitan Ministries to offer an opportunity for Bay Area families to receive health, homeowners and automobile insurance coverage. For every 50 new customer policies that Cambridge signs through the remainder of the year, the company will award one-time $1,000 donations to nonprofit Metropolitan Ministries. The donations will be exclusively applied toward insurance policies to qualified uninsured individuals or families.

“While the future of health care in America is being debated in Washington, people in our own community are struggling,” said Howard Flamm, principal, The Cambridge Insurance Agency. “It’s a privilege to support the efforts of an organization dedicated to helping people here in our own backyard by providing health as well as home and auto insurance.”

Heitler and Flamm chose Metropolitan Ministries because of the nonprofit organization’s long-standing and tireless work in reaching out to those in need. The health, homeowners and automobile insurance policies will be awarded based on individual circumstances and personal stories submitted to Metropolitan Ministries. Information on the qualifications to receive a policy is available upon request by contacting Metropolitan Ministries.

“Our goal is to provide potential clients with the best insurance at the lowest prices while coming together for a common goal of community activism,” said Clayton Heitler, principal, The Cambridge Insurance Agency. “Our collective efforts will provide men, women and children hope for a better future.”

The Cambridge Insurance Agency launched the Metropolitan Ministries partnership with a food drive at The Cambridge Insurance corporate office at 6320 South Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa.
