Yats Restaurant & Wine Bar Rolls Out New Wine-Friendly Set Dinner Menu
Yats Restaurant & Wine Bar regularly updates its wine-friendly pric fixe set dinner to include new arrivals of imported materials and new ingredients that are in season and of course, catch of the day. Guests have a wide variety of wines to choose from starting at p1,000 up including young and matured vintages.
Coming up next is a Grilled Blackened Tuna served with Horitiki Salad, a perfect dish to whet the appetite but also works very well with a nice white Burgundy such as a Savigny-Les-Beaue or a Saint-Romain.
A sorbet is served next in preparation for the main course which is a Rib-eye Black Angus steak served with baked potato and lightly buttered red cabbage and assorted gourmet vegetables. Wine pairing depends on the doneness of the steak preferred. A rare steak requires an old vintage wine such as a 1959 Ducru-Beaucaillou from St. Julien or the 1975 Ch Bouscaut from Graves. For those who prefer the steaks medium-well or even fully cooked through, a varietal red wine might be more suitable. This could be a Malbec from Argentina or the powerful Amarone from Italy.
