Gladstone, Canada, October 30, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Kelvin Bueckert aims to blur genre lines by releasing his new book worldwide with a free soundtrack EP.

Unison is a romantic thriller set in the present and the past. As storylines intertwine toward a climax, the reader is drawn into a study in contrasts. The motives of modern day slavery are contrasted with scenes of sacrificial love, humor, and the high-spirited club scene. The discipline of writing is combined with the emotional thrill of music, the power of the internet with the convenience of a book.

"The old ways of doing things are passing. People want more from their books and music, they want new ideas, new ways of enjoying the material," said Kelvin Bueckert. "Movies have soundtracks, why not books? And while you are at it, why not twist the process further? The album came first, and then the book was written with the music in mind. The goal was to get people interested and then sneak in a few words about issues that concern me. I admit that it was a bit of a balancing act to ensure that the whole adventure was entertaining and humorous, but I think I succeeded.
