2nd Release on Renegade Screw - Free New Dubstep / Breaks from Phat Koknoz

This latest release from Luxembourg's greatest musical phenomenon is a collection of wonderful tracks carved out of the night sky and oiled in orchestral textures and bass. This has proved popular with over 700 downloads in its first week

Luxembourg City, Luxembourg, November 03, 2009 --(PR.com)-- He has come a long way since the early demos were mused over in Luxembourg's underground art scene.

This latest release from Luxembourg's only dubstep producer is a collection of tracks carved out of the night sky and oiled in orchestral textures and bass. Created in conjunction with the ghosts of soul singers on the moon, these tracks somehow manage to roll yet simultaneously stand still.

Vocals clearly influenced by Burial's Untrue swirl in the air around subtle melodies and subdued chords, plucked from heaven but sucked slowly into hell. This music sees Phat Koknoz reference many influences whilst retaining his usual unique sound. None of the EP's tracks succumb to conformity which may be a turn off for some, while for others repeated listens will be a rewarding experience.

Over 700 downloads in the first week of release confirms this is his best release to date, both accessible yet able to engage the most avant-garde listeners interest. Whilst venturing into the dubstep sound, he has been wary not to wear the musical straight-jacket that is slowly being associated with the scene.

The tracks are available to download free via torrent at the link below in MP3 320kbps. Additionally they are available to stream on the Renegade Screw Website (on the music player at the bottom of the websites main page). Finally, the tracks can be downloaded the old fashioned way in a zip file, or as single MP3s. The links are all available on the website.
