Fiat Launches New Customer Accident Management Programme

Slough, United Kingdom, November 06, 2009 --(PR.com)-- A comprehensive accident care service for all Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Fiat Professional new and used vehicle owners in Britain, has just been launched by Fiat Group Automobiles UK.

Called Accident AfterCare, the programme is provided free to all customers, and aims to increase the volume of vehicle crash repairs retained within the Fiat and Alfa Romeo dealer network, to ensure that customers receive a high quality experience, following an accident.

All customers – whether at fault or not – will receive a courtesy car during the bodyshop repair. The repair must be carried out at a Fiat Group approved bodyshop where genuine Fiat and Alfa Romeo parts are fitted.

Co-ordination of the programme is centrally managed. The process starts from the initial customer call – where they receive a personal account management service – through to the repaired vehicle being returned.

All Fiat and Alfa Romeo new and used vehicle owners are eligible for free membership to the programme, irrespective of the age of their vehicle. A dealer marketing campaign is underway to ensure that all owners are informed and enrolled.

This national Accident AfterCare programme is managed for Fiat Group by Retention Ltd, part of the Verex Group.
