Artspace’s Eighth Annual Collectors Gala Tickets and Table Sponsorships on Sale

Raleigh, NC, November 06, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Mary Poole, executive director of Artspace (www.artspacenc.org), has announced that tickets and table sponsorships are still available for the eighth annual Collectors Gala on Saturday, Nov. 21 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. The tickets are available for $125 per person, and table sponsorships are still available for $5,000, $2,500 and $1,500. The event will benefit Artspace exhibitions, educational programming, and community outreach to children and adults in difficult circumstances. Guests will have the opportunity to purchase locally and nationally recognized artists’ artwork through live and silent auctions as well as artwork displayed around the building. - The schedule for the Collectors Gala is as follows:

6 p.m.: Cocktails & Hors d’Oeuvres
6 p.m. to 11 p.m.: Silent Auction
7:30 p.m.: Dinner
9 p.m.: Live Auction
10 p.m.: Desserts and Coffee

- Auction pieces can be previewed online beginning Tuesday, Nov. 3 or in person beginning Friday, Nov. 6.

- Voting for the third annual “People’s Choice” award will be held on Nov. 6 at the November First Friday Gallery Walk from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Artspace. Visitors will be able to vote for their favorite live auction artwork piece. The winning artist will receive a special gift and recognition at the gala.
