Television Historian Wesley Hyatt to Co-Host Live Internet Broadcast of Game Show Congress 7

Cary, NC, November 07, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Patty Briguglio, president of MMI Public Relations, a Raleigh based, full service public relations firm, has announced that senior writer Wesley Hyatt, will co-host a live Internet broadcast of Game Show Congress 7 along with Stu Shostak on Shokus Internet Radio (www.shokusradio.com) on Sunday, Nov. 15 from Studio City, Calif. starting at 3 p.m. Eastern/noon Pacific. The event recognizes excellence in the TV game and quiz show industry and will honor two former emcees, Geoff Edwards (Jackpot, The New Treasure Hunt) and Allen Ludden (Password). Edwards will be in attendance, while Emmy-winning actress Betty White (The Golden Girls) will accept in person on behalf of Ludden, her late husband. Hyatt, author of The Encyclopedia of Daytime Television, will provide background from his arsenal of TV knowledge as he gives coverage and commentary during the event. Several celebrities are slotted to attend, and most have agreed to stop by the broadcast booth to say hello to listeners and talk with the hosts.
