Stanton James Announces the Addition of Dustie Doll Clothing

Stanton James is pleased to announce the addition of Dustie Doll Clothing to its list of over 45 up & coming designers. Dustie Doll Clothing has been featured in magazines such as Nylon, Apparel News, People and countless others.

Beverly Hills, CA, November 17, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Launched in March 2009, Stanton James.com has quickly evolved into one of the most well-known and respected retailers for up & coming designers. Recognized in countless magazines and blogs, StantonJames.com has positioned itself as the premiere locale for finding the widest array of clothing, accessories, shoes and bags from emerging talent.

New to their line up of over 45 designers is Dustie Doll Clothing. Dustie Smith was born in Anaheim, California. She grew up in Huntington Beach. From an early age her dream started with a “Sew Perfect”. Dustie was then inspired to create Apparel Design at the age of 12, after viewing the movie ‘Pretty In Pink’. As divine will would have it, she was handed down a vintage Singer sewing machine that same year, which fueled her passion and creativity. She has won a handful of awards for her designs such as “Most Salable Items”, “Best All around Fashion Design”, and other various awards. Dustie has been designing in the fashion industry for over 7 years. After much encouragement from her close friends and family, she took a leap of faith and started her own company. Her designs have been sold in Kitson, Fred Segal, and now StantonJames.com. Dustie’s designs have also been spotted on many celebrities and seen in various fashion magazines.

"Dustie Doll Clothing is clothing with studs, lace, zippers - all the things the StantonJames.com girl seeks" says Brooke Price, StantonJames.com co-founder. Dustie Doll Clothing will join designers such as Brigid Catiis, Hellz Bellz, Aaron Ashe, Mink Pink, Miss Wax, Elaine Kim, Suzabelle and many more. With Stanton James.com's emphasis on emerging talent they have created an environment unlike any other as many of their designers are not carried in many locales. Brooke Price, founder and owner of Stanton James.com "We wanted to create something that the hipster, chic customer wanted to wear. We cater to the girl that everyone looks to for style advice, we pride ourselves on not carrying things you will find at traditional mall stores."

Dustie Doll Clothing is now available at Stanton James.com.
