Audible Spectrum Records, LLC. Launches nycbattle.com

New York, NY, October 05, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Audible Spectrum Records, LLC. (aka. ASR) launches their first ever Battle of the Bands, where dozens of unsigned bands from all over the New England area will be competing to perform at a final battle taking place at The Knitting Factory in New York City, January 6, 2006.

Created by Dan Gargano (19 year old Owner/CEO of Audible Spectrum Records, LLC.) www.nycbattle.com is a new web site designed to help ASR booking representatives select bands to perform at a series of eight competitions booked by ASR. These eight events will be taking place during the month of November 2006 at Bloomfield Ave Café (Montclair, NJ), Club Sin-e (NYC), Zarras Café (Point Pleasant, NJ), and Penny Arcade (Rochester, NY). Audible Spectrum Records is now considering bands to perform at these series of events and is open to all original rock / alternative artists to perform. Each event will have one winner selected by a panel of judges, based on the performers overall sound, stage presence, crowd interaction/participation, draw, professionalism, and punctuality.

Winners from each of the eight events will receive a battle trophy, perform at another ASR concert, and move on to perform January 6th at The Knitting Factory (main stage) in Manhattan NY to win the first place Battle of the Bands Trophy, and perform at five ASR events of their choice, with travel expenses paid (*details apply). The winner of the Battle will also be featured on the homepage of nycbattle.com as well as audiblespectrum.com.
